Fire detection

As-fitted drawings

Drawings updated to show what was actually installed — positions, addresses, routes and interfaces — rather than the original design intent.

Smoke control

Automatic opening vent (AOV)

A vent opened automatically on smoke detection to clear smoke from escape routes such as stair cores and corridors; tested from the mapped trigger through to full travel.

Security

Entry/exit route

The programmed path allowing setting and unsetting without triggering an immediate alarm, with timed entry and exit periods.

Emergency lighting

Escape route lighting

Emergency lighting arranged to illuminate escape routes and exits so occupants can leave safely on supply failure.
