Global Fire Equipment G-One fault records

Displayed when the battery connection is broken (the manual's own test procedure is to temporarily remove the link wire between the batteries). After a short delay the SUPPLY FAULT LED comes on, the panel buzzer sounds, and the "Battery Fault" message appears on the LCD. Cleared by reconnecting the battery link and pressing SYSTEM RESET.

Reported via the normal fault mechanism (and logged) when programming function 6-3-5 "Check for Devices Needing Service" finds a ZEOS-protocol device close to its drift-compensation limit. No further cause or remedy detail beyond this is given in the source.

Shown on a remote Chameleon Display (not the main panel itself) when, after initialization, serial communication between the panel and the display has not been established. The FAULT LED on the display is also lit. The source directs the installer to first verify the panel is powered and working, then verify the network connections.

Panel configuration mismatch

The G-One has detected that Chameleon network panels do not hold the same system configuration or operating mode.

Displayed when the mains AC supply to the panel fails or is switched off. After a short delay the amber SUPPLY FAULT LED comes on and the fault buzzer sounds. Cleared when mains is restored and SYSTEM RESET is pressed.
