Power Supply Fault indicator
Lit, with the warning beeper sounding, whenever the mains supply is off or the standby batteries are disconnected or flat. Extinguishes, and the beeper silences, once mains power is restored and the batteries are connected and adequately charged. Note: deteriorated battery cells will still show a fault even when connected and charged.
Sounder Fault indicator
Lit, with the warning beeper sounding, on either an open circuit or short circuit fault on a sounder circuit. Pressing Silence Fault Sounders silences the beeper but the indicator stays lit until the circuit fault is corrected.
Zone Fault indicator (open/short circuit)
The Zone Fault indicator lights together with a separate internal Open Circuit Fault or Short Circuit Fault indicator lamp specific to the affected zone, depending on which condition is present. The warning beeper also sounds. Detector monitoring circuits can otherwise be in a Normal or Fire condition.
