Haes Systems Esento Eclipse 2-4 Zone fault records
12 fault records for this panel, each labelled with its review status and, where one is cited, the source document it comes from. Haes Technologies 2 to 4 zone conventional fire control panel (Esento Eclipse, ECL-2/4).
Power supply fault: battery failure or high impedance
Not yet verified
Power Supply Fault LED: battery failure or high impedance
With the Power Supply Fault LED pulsing, press and hold ENTER (fault diagnosis mode): the LED steady after pressing ENTER means battery failure or high impedance. The location given is the Main PCB.
With the Power Supply Fault LED pulsing, press and hold ENTER (fault diagnosis mode): the LED pulsing after pressing ENTER means mains failure. The location given is the Main PCB.
With the Power Supply Fault LED pulsing, press and hold ENTER (fault diagnosis mode): the LED going off after pressing ENTER means a voltage fault. The location given is the Main PCB.
Sounder circuit open circuit (fault diagnosis mode)
In fault diagnosis mode (press and hold ENTER), a Zone 1 or Zone 2 Fire LED steady after pressing ENTER indicates an open circuit on sounder circuit 1 or 2 (Main PCB SNDR 1 and SNDR 2). The LED going off after pressing ENTER means that circuit is OK.
Sounder circuit short circuit (fault diagnosis mode)
When a fault is showing, press and hold ENTER (works only when the panel is not in a fire condition and controls are not active). The Zone 1 or Zone 2 Fire LED that is off before pressing ENTER pulses for a short circuit on sounder circuit 1 or 2 respectively (Main PCB SNDR 1 and SNDR 2).
System Fault LED and General Fault LED pulsing with pulsed fault buzzer
System Fault LED pulsing and General Fault LED pulsing along with a pulsed (fault tone) buzzer means a system fault has occurred and the affected board has recovered. The indication remains until the panel is reset.
System Fault LED only, continuous buzzer (display board halted)
A system fault is a processor watchdog time out or processor failure. With only the System Fault LED continuous and a continuous buzzer, display board TPCA02 is halted and no other indication or control is possible. The fault relay and fault output are activated. If a fire occurs, alarm sounders and outputs still function.
System Fault LED continuous, General Fault LED pulsing, continuous buzzer
A continuous System Fault LED with the General Fault LED pulsing and a continuous buzzer means the main board is halted. The fault relay is activated. The manual states that no alarms may be activated on the system.
For zones 1 to 4 on the Main PCB, in fault diagnosis mode (press and hold ENTER) the Zone Fault/Disabled/Test LED going off after pressing ENTER, with a slow pulse shown in the table, means a detector has been removed on that zone.
Zone Fault/Disabled/Test LED steady: zone disabled or in test mode
A steady Zone 1 to 4 Fault/Disabled/Test LED (not pulsing) means that zone is disabled or in test mode; pressing ENTER in fault diagnosis mode does not show a fault type for it. The LED going off after pressing ENTER is listed as 'Zone # disabled or in test mode'.
Detection zone open circuit (fault diagnosis mode)
For zones 1 to 4 on the Main PCB, in fault diagnosis mode (press and hold ENTER) the Zone Fault/Disabled/Test LED steady after pressing ENTER means that zone has an open circuit.
Detection zone short circuit (fault diagnosis mode)
For zones 1 to 4 on the Main PCB, the Zone Fault/Disabled/Test LED pulses when there is a fault. In fault diagnosis mode (press and hold ENTER), the LED pulsing after pressing ENTER means that zone has a short circuit.
