The Digital Fire Logbook replaces the paper logbook required under BS 5839-1 for fire alarm system maintenance records. Log weekly detector tests, monthly inspections, and annual service records — all timestamped, signed, and stored against the site.

The logbook meets the record-keeping requirements of BS 5839-1:2017+A1:2020 for fire alarm system maintenance. Entries are tamper-evident and stored with the engineer's user account as a verified signature.
